Do not Check search engine visibility option. It will disallow search engine to index your blog. Make sure Discourage Search Engines from indexing this site is unchecked.

Permalinks
The structure of the pages and posts are very important in SEO. The pages or posts URL are Permalinks. Set pages or posts URL human readable. You have options of setting posts or pages URL as plan, data and time, month and name, numeric, post name and custom format.
In your WordPress Dashboard, hover mouse pointer on Settings and click on Permalinks.

You will see list of URL structure select Post name and click on Save Changes.

Yoast SEO
Yoast is powerful WordPress plugin for SEO. It optimize your blog and posts to rank higher in search engine.
Install Yoast SEO Plugin
In WordPress Dashboard, Hover mouse point on Plugins and click on Add new.

Type Yoast SEO in the search box at the right. You will see plugin at the beginning. Click on Install Now button. After completion of installation click on Activate button.
