Step-1: Choose your Blog Name

Blog name or domain name are the website address or URL and website hosting server make your live available in the internet. Choose easy to read blog name e.g. myblog.com. Step-2: Upgrade to Personal Plan and Get Free Professional Domain Name.

Once you are in website.com homepage click on Get It button.

It will take you to the page where you have to choose the plans. You will see the free plan and paid plan, if you want to start a website with free plan then you will get sub domain name e.g. http://johnjack775.website2.me/ and if you go with premium plan you will get unlimited resources and free custom domain name e.g. www.myphotography.com which is recommended for long running blog.

We recommend you to choose Personal Plan at the beginner which is cheap and need to pay for one year. Click on Select button.

In the next page, type your domain name e.g. myphotographyblog.com then click on Check Availability.

You will see the message that says your domain is available. If the chosen domain name is not available then you need to choose another name. Click on Contact & Payment button.

In the payment page, choose 12 months plan and fill the login details. You can get money back anytime, if you are not happy with the service.

In second section, fill all the required details.

In the last section of the page, choose your card type MasterCard/Visa card and provide your card details and click on Create my Account Now button.

Once check out process completes, you will see website setup page on the screen. Click on Next button to continue.

You will see the message that says You’re Done!. Click on Start Building My Website button.

In the next page, click on Login Here link and login using username and password. Don’t forget to activate your account click on the link sent in your registered email ID.

After login to your account, you need to click on Edit Site button.

Now, you are in the website builder page where you can choose the blog template, create menu, post, page and manage your entire website. Click on Site menu then Reset Template to choose your preferred blog design.

You will see the pop up message to replace the existing blog template with the recent one. Click on continue button which activate your preferred template.

Step-3: Customize Your Website

Create Menu

Click on menu bar then Click on Change Menu Link button.

Now, click on the Edit icon to edit the menu name. You can click on delete icon at the right to delete menu name. Once you edit your menu click on Save button at the top.

Change Background

You can change the background image clicking on the Change content box style button. Click on the default background image where you will find the change content box style button. From the content Box click on background then click on replace image.

Click on Background image tab and choose your preferred image. You can also upload your own image using My images tab. Once you select the image click on Use Image button.

Type the title and caption and click on Save button.

Edit the Text

Everything is editable in one click. Click on the text you want to edit then click on Edit text button.

Add Page

Click on pages at the top and click on Add page.

Type the page name then click on Add button.

Tools

Use the tools at the left side of the screen to add different elements such as text, images and many more.
