1. Create Google Adsense Account
Creating Google Adsense account is similar as you use to create any other account such Facebook. Use the button below to create Google Adsense Account.
The link will take you to Google adsense dashboard where you can add your blog and activate adsense account. Click on Get started button at the top right.

You will see Google Adsense sign up page. Enter your blog address (URL) and Gmail address e.g. [email protected] and click on Save and Continue button.

It will take you to sign in page. If you already have gmail ID you can login using the same ID or create new Gmail account.
Enter your Gmail email ID and click on Next button then enter your password and login.

After login to Google adsense you will see adsense setup page. In the first section, choose your country where you want the money to send.

In the second section, check the Terms and Condition box and click on Create Account button.

Now, update your payment address details filling the form. Choose your Account types as individual from the drop down. Enter your full name as in your ID card then provide your home address. Click on Submit.

2. Verify your Phone Number
In the next page you have to provide your mobile number with your country code and click on Get verification code.

You will receive verification code in your given mobile number. Enter the code and click on submit.

After verification Google Adsense will provide you the adsense code that has to be added in your website. Click on copy.

3. Add Adsense code in WordPress Blog
Now, you need to add the adsense code in your WordPress website. Login to your WordPress dashboard and click on Editor under Appearance.

Now, click on header.php at the right side and paste the code below the head section and click on Update file button.

Go back to Adsense site and check the box I’ve pasted the code into my site then click on Done button.

You will see the message that says the code was found. Click on Got it.

You will see another message that says Adsense is reviewing your site. It will take few days to complete site verification.

Once verified you will receive the activation mail. After successful activation you can start adding the adsense advert in your website.

4. Create Ad Unit
You need to create the Ad unit in Google Adsense dashboard which needs to be add in your WordPress website. Login to your Adsense account and create Ad Unit.
From the AdSense dashboard click on Ad units under My ads then click on New ad unit.

In the next page, type your Ad name and select the ad type such as Text & display from drop down and click on Save and get code button.

AdSense will provide you the code that need to add into your blog. Copy the code.

5. Add Advertisement in WordPress Blog
Login to WordPress dashboard. Click on Widgets under Appearance.

Move Custom HTML widget from the the left side and drop at the preferred widget area at the right either Primary widget or Secondary widget. Paste the ad code that is copied from adsense account and click on Save button.
