How to Activate Google Adsense Account

What is Google Adsense?
Google Adsense is advertisement network chosen by 11 million bloggers which is run by Google. Google adsense display advertisement such as Text, images, videos or interactive media in your website.
The advertisement served in your website generate revenue either per click or per impression basis.
When the visitors click on the advert in your website, you will be paid by the Adsense. If the cost of the advert is $1, Google Adsense will pay you 68% of total cost of advert.
You will also get paid for every 1000 Impressions, Adsense calculates the revenue for showing advert in your website. If the advert serve 1000 impression you will generate revenue without any clicks.
Create Google Adsense Account
Creating Google Adsense account is similar as you use to create any other account such Facebook. Use the button below to create Google Adsense Account.
The link will take you to Google adsense dashboard where you can add your blog and activate adsense account. Click on Get started button at the top right.
You will see Google Adsense sign up page. Enter your blog address (URL) and Gmail address e.g. [email protected] and click on Save and Continue button.
It will take you to sign in page. If you already have gmail ID you can login using the same ID or create new Gmail account.
Enter your Gmail email ID and click on Next button then enter your password and login.
After login you will see Adsense setup page. In the first section, choose your country where you want your money to send.
In the second section, check the Terms and Condition box and click on Create Account button.
Now, update your payment address details filling the form. Choose your Account types as individual from the drop down. Enter your full name as in your ID card then provide your home address. Click on Submit.
In the next page you have to provide your mobile number with your country code and click on Get verification code.
You will receive verification code in your given mobile number. Enter the code and click on submit.
Google Adsense will give you the code that has to add in your website.
Now, you have to add the adsense code in your WordPress website. Login to your WordPress dashboard and click on Editor under Appearance.
Now, paste the code below the head section and click on Update file button.
Go back to Adsense site and check the box I’ve pasted the code into my site then click on Done button.
You will see the message that says the code was found. Click on Got it.
You will see another message that says Adsense is reviewing your site. It will take few days to complete site verification.
Once verified you will receive the activation mail. After successful activation you can start adding the adsense advert in your website.
Start Adding Advertisement in your Blog.
Now, you can easily add the advertisement to your blog. Google Adsense will provide you the code that need to add in your blog. Login to your Adsense account and create Ad Unit.
Creating Ad Unit.
From the AdSense dashboard click on Ad units under My ads then click on New ad unit.
In the next page, type your Ad name and select the ad type such as Text & display from drop down and click on Save and get code button.
AdSense will provide you the code that need to add into your blog. Copy the code.
Login to WordPress dashboard. Click on Widgets under Appearance.
Move Custom HTML widget from the the left side and drop at the preferred widget area at the right e.g. Primary or Secondary. Paste Ad code copied from adsense account Click on Save button.
Your advertisement will display in your blog after few minutues.
